If you've followed My Lake Vibes for any length of time, you already know I love being at the lake! One of my absolute favorite parts of every lake day is watching the sun slowly disappear over the water. There's just something peaceful about a lake sunset that never gets old.
It’s like every evening God gets a new canvas and set of colors and paints the sky in different shades and movements. The sunset is the prelude to a perfect evening to come. A lot of evenings we go out on the pontoon to capture those masterpieces at it’s fullest. We find the perfect spot on the lake, turn the boat off, sit there and watch the show with our snacks and drinks, enjoy conversation with family and friends or sometimes it’s just the 2 of us. If we don’t go out on the boat, we have the best seat on the top deck of the houseboat. I would rather be out it in water, it’s something about being closer to it that enhances the experience.
The next time you are out on the water, don’t leave before sunset. Stay around and watch the show. You won’t be disappointed!
