I never knew I needed this in my life—the lake, the boat, the people I've met, and the time my husband and I spend together. But I did. Every moment on the water reminds me how blessed I am, and I'm grateful to God for it.

The best perk is when our boys are there. Our oldest loves to fish, he is there just as much as us. So again, we get to spend quality family time together. Our youngest is not the fisherman, he comes to hang. If you have grown kids who are out of the house, then you know you really appreciate those times when everyone can get together.

You can rent a boat to hold 2 people or 100 people... it all depends on what you can afford. The joy you will get from it will be priceless!
There's something about being around water that refreshes the soul, calms your spirit, and relaxes your mind. I need that!! It prepares me for the week to come. Plus it gives me a chance to enjoy another scenery. Trust me, there is always something different to see.
