`Shrimp and Scallop Tortellini is a rich and satisfying dish
that’s perfect for a family gathering or special occasion. Tender cheese-stuffed tortellini is paired with succulent shrimp and scallops, all bathed in a luscious sauce made with heavy cream, Swiss, and Gruyère cheeses. The combination of creamy, cheesy goodness with the delicate seafood flavors makes this dish both indulgent and comforting. It’s a filling, crowd-pleasing meal that’s sure to impress and leave everyone asking for seconds!

This dish is a must have when my cousin Shelby comes to the boat. Rich, creamy and packed with flavor. More than just a pasta dish, the tortellini adds an extra layer of flavor.
Seafood & Pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, cleaned, deveined, and patted dry
- 1 pound bay scallops, rinsed and patted dry
- 1 (24-ounce) package five-cheese tortellini
- 2 handfuls fresh spinach
- Chopped chives, for garnish
Creamy Cheese Sauce
- 5 tablespoons butter, divided
- Olive oil, as needed
- 1 quart heavy cream
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, grated
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
- 6 ounces garlic & herb cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic
Seasonings
- CRAVE Italian Seasoning, to taste
- CRAVE Cajun Seasoning, to taste
Instructions
Cook the Seafood
- Heat 3 tablespoons butter and a little olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the shrimp with CRAVE Italian Seasoning and CRAVE Cajun Seasoning to taste.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and sauté for about 3–4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the bay scallops to the same skillet and season with CRAVE Italian and Cajun Seasoning to taste. Add a little more olive oil if the pan becomes dry.
- Sauté the scallops for about 4 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside with the shrimp.
Make the Creamy Cheese Sauce
- To the same skillet, add the heavy cream, remaining 2 tablespoons butter, minced garlic, and garlic & herb cream cheese.
- Add CRAVE Italian and Cajun Seasoning to taste.
- Stir until the cream cheese has completely melted and is incorporated into the sauce.
- Add the grated Swiss and Gruyère cheeses.
- Stir until all the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Turn off the heat and add the cooked shrimp and scallops back to the sauce.

Cook the Tortellini
- While the sauce is simmering, cook the five-cheese tortellini according to the package directions.
- Once the tortellini is done, drain well.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the seafood and cream sauce.
- Add the fresh spinach and gently mix everything together until the spinach begins to wilt and the tortellini is coated in the creamy sauce.
- Taste and adjust the Cajun and Italian seasonings as needed.
- Garnish with chopped chives.
