- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Lasagna & Cheese
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 15-ounce container ricotta cheese
- 2 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Colby Jack cheese blend
You'll Also Need
- 13 x 9-inch baking dish
- Cooking spray
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
Make the Meat Sauce
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, diced onion, and green bell pepper until the meat is completely cooked through and the vegetables have softened.
- Drain the excess grease and return the meat mixture to the skillet.
- Add the minced garlic, McCormick Spaghetti Seasoning, tomato paste, Prego sauce, CRAVE Italian Seasoning, CRAVE All Purpose Seasoning, basil, thyme, and oregano.
- Mix well, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.

Prepare the Lasagna Noodles
- While the sauce is simmering, cook approximately 12 lasagna noodles according to the package directions.
- Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and return them to the pot.
- Add cold water to the pot to cool the noodles and keep them from sticking together while you assemble the lasagna.
Now Let's Build This Lasagna!
- Lightly spray a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce over the bottom of the pan.
- Add a layer of lasagna noodles.
- Spread a layer of ricotta cheese over the noodles.
- Add some of the mozzarella, Parmesan, and Colby Jack cheeses. Don't use all the cheese—you'll be building 3 layers.
- Add another layer of meat sauce.
- Repeat the layering process 2 more times, ending with cheese on top.

Bake
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and switch the oven to broil.
- Broil for approximately 4–5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and nicely browned. Keep an eye on it—the cheese can brown quickly under the broiler.
- Remove the lasagna from the oven and let it rest for about 15 minutes before slicing.
