- Hot sauce, to taste
- 1 whole garlic bulb, cloves peeled and minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 package scallions, diced
- 1 quart heavy cream
- 5 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 (16-ounce) box bow tie pasta
Instructions
Cook the Shrimp
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- Generously season the shrimp with CRAVE Cajun Seasoning.
- Heat 3 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat.
- Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Be careful not to overcook.
- Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
Make the Creamy Cajun Sauce
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil to the same pan.
- Add the diced scallions and red bell pepper. Sauté for about 3 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, just until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Add 1 tablespoon CRAVE Cajun Seasoning, 1 tablespoon CRAVE Italian Seasoning, and about 5 shakes of hot sauce.
- Stir and allow the sauce to simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- About 10 minutes into the simmer, add the Parmesan cheese.
- Stir until the cheese has completely melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Cook the Pasta
- While the sauce is simmering, cook the bow tie pasta according to the package directions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
Bring It All Together
- Once the sauce has finished simmering, return the cooked shrimp to the pan and gently stir to coat.
- Remove the sauce from the heat.
- Add the drained bow tie pasta and gently toss until everything is evenly coated in the creamy Cajun sauce.
- Let the pasta sit for a few minutes before serving. The sauce will continue to thicken as it rests.
- Taste and adjust the Cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, black pepper, or hot sauce as needed.
