Air Fried Crab Balls

Air Fryer Crab Balls are a delightful twist on a classic appetizer, blending succulent crab meat, creamy cream cheese, savory Parmesan, and finely chopped veggies for added flavor and texture. Encased in golden, crispy pizza crust, these bite-sized delights are perfect for entertaining or as a quick snack. The air fryer ensures a light and crisp exterior without the need for deep frying, making them a slightly healthier yet indulgent treat. Ingredients

Makes about 8 Balls

1 1/2 Tbsp Land O Lakes Butter with Herbs

1 Tsp Garlic(minced)

1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

1 Cup Half and Half

1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 Tbsp Diced Red Pepper

1 Tbsp Diced Scallions

2 Tbsp chopped Spinach

4 oz. Container Crab Lump

3 oz Alouette Garlic & Herbs Cream Cheese

1 tsp garlic(minced)

1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

1 Cup Half and Half

Tube of Refrigerated Pizza Dough

Steps to prepare

Preheat skillet to medium

Dipping Sauce:

Melt 1 Tbsp butter in Skillet

Add Half & Half and Garlic 

Bring to a boil

Reduce heat to medium low

Add  parmesan cheese and whisk until melted

Salt and Pepper to taste

Pour into a bowl and sit aside

Wipe skillet out

Add butter and olive oil

Once butter melts

Add red pepper and.scallions 

Saute for about 3 minutes

Add spinach and  stir until wilted

Add in cream cheese and parm cheese

Stir until cheese melts

Add in crab meat Stir until blended

Salt and Pepper to taste

Remove from heat

Dust countertop or cookie sheet lightly with flour

Roll out crust

Cut into squares...about 4x4 inch each

Press with hand or rolling pin to stretch

Add a heaping Tbsp of crab mixture to the center

Fold crust over crab mixture and pinch ends to close

Once completed 

Add to airfryer(do not over crowd)

Turn  on airfryer to 390 degrees and cook for 7-8 minutes or until crust is brown and toasted.
