Fried Shrimp Balls

Shrimp Balls are a crispy, bite-sized twist on classic fried shrimp, perfect for any occasion! Succulent shrimp are ground, seasoned, and rolled into balls, then fried to golden perfection. These flavorful morsels make a fantastic appetizer for game day, parties, or whenever you’re craving something fun and different. Serve them with our simple dipping sauce, or use your favorite, for an irresistible snack that’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

1lb Shrimp (peel.deveined.cleaned. pat dry)

1/2 Tbsp Garlic (minced)

1/2 Tbsp With Love Cajun Seasoning

3 Eggs (whipped)

Package of Zatarain's Shrimp or Fish Fry

2 Cups Vegetable Oil (enough that the ball will be submerged)

Steps to prepare

In a food processor, grind the shrimp

Once finished grinding

Put the shrimp in a bowl and add garlic.panko and cajun seasoning

Mix well

Form into balls (a little smaller than a golf ball)

After the balls are formed

Put in the fridge for about an hour

Remove from fridge

Heat oil to 350 degrees in a pot or use a deep fryer

While oil is heating

Add eggs in a bowl and add a tsp cajun seasoning and garlic powder

Add Shrimp or Fish Fry to another bowl

Drop balls into the eggs and seasoning mixture to coat (let excess drip off)

Remove balls from egg mixture and add to batter

Shake off excess batter and repeat egg mixture then batter

Add to oil

Cook for about 5 minutes

Remove and drain on a paper towel

Serve with dipping sauce

~ Dipping Remoulade Sauce

1/4 Cup Heinz Ketchup

1/4 Cup Hot Sauce

Juice from one lemon

Mix together...serve with fried shrimp balls
